Nervous Nelly

I am so edgy today, it is raining pretty good over here and it did just the other day too. Everything is still wet and the ground isn't really soaking much of it in right now. If you know our past, (and past) you would understand why I am so jumpy about the rain. Oh my, just looking at those pictures sent the overwhelming sinking feeling over me again! I need to quit before I get depressed thinking about it...

Play time with Brody

I set the girls up with something and took Brody up to his room for a little alone time.

It's a little hard to tell, but he's praying here.

I think playing under the bed was his favorite part. He kept cawling under and poping out and I would attack him with tickles and he would run away and then come back and start all over again.

Hodge Podge Pictures

We came up with a new game this week, balancing the ball on the back scratcher. They had a ball (ha ha) playing. Reygann didn't do as well as Kylie but that's to be expected.



Last week we made homemade pizzas. The girls LOVED this! They love 'helping' but of course it often isn't very helpful!



I realized I never posted a picture of the ribbon board I made. I should have made sure it was hanging straight BEFORE I took the picture, oh well!

I got donuts for a special treat, they stayed much cleaner this time, last time they had powder sugar rings around their eyes from pretending they were glasses.

Brody's Couch

I'm not sure why, but I decided to make a couch for the kids. I made the body of it a few months ago, but I haven't touched it since then. We had it in the basement and the girls used it as it was, but I decided to bring it up to Brody's room and upholster it for him. He loves looking out the window and now he can so much better than before. I'm not done with it yet, but the actual upholstery part is done (well I have to put the back on, but because the heat register is right there I'm leaving it off for now). I still have to make the cushions for the back and the seat. I'm using mom's sewing machine and now that Dad's party is over hopefully she will have the time for me to come over now. I want to get something checked off my list!

I saw him again! Part 2

Jessica met me at my house and we headed up to the square to meet with Jody and then to meet up with 'becca again. We got there around 6:30 and pretty much stood around watching the extras stand around.

We looked at some of the old cars, not much was going on that we could see.

After standing for a while I needed to brave the porta potty, so Jessica came with me and we ran into our cousin Johnny and stopped to talk with him, while we were standing there we found our cousin Mike too. Mike got some awesome pictures from the other day (he even shook Depps hand!)

This is Tyler, he was someone that did something. What do you think his job was Ted? He came up to the crowd and held out a water bottle and told us that it was Johnny's water bottle, and I got it! Ha-haaa! I'm thinking about Ebaying it...
