Sillies

The other day Daddy 'let one slip' and Kylie shouted 'Daddy tooted like a trumpet!', then later there was another one and Reygann responded with 'Daddy tooted like a gui-tar!' I'm not sure why she picked a guitar, it didn't make any sense but it was funny.

I was laughing so hard I had tears falling on my cheeks, and Reygann asked me why I had puddles of wet on my face.

Last week we were watching an old movie, and at the end they had a short silent movie clip where they were bringing dinner into a king or something on trays above their heads. (Like they would do at a feast for the kings court or something...) Anyways one tray had a whole pig on it with an apple in its mouth and Kylie burst into a fit of giggles. I had no clue why she was laughing so hard when she finally calmed down she told me it was because they were eating animals! How silly is that?!? Apparently she hasn't put two and two together (chickens live on the farm... we eat chicken at dinner)!

We just recently started to watch Veggie Tales (we listen to the cd all the time, but just now broke out the movies) and one night I was making a salad with dinner and Kylie saw me and shouted AAHHH, YOU'RE CUTTING UP VEGGIE TALES!!!

Another Veggie Tale related story is we were watching someone cooking on tv and they said we are making 'blah blah with asparagus' and Kylie said 'that's Juniors family!' Later he started cutting them up and she shrieked ' he's cutting off their heads!'

After dinner daddy got up from the table and Reygann asked why he didn't have any pants on, and why he was wearing a skirt (he was wearing soccer type shorts). Kylie replied, No Reygann Daddy isn't wearing a skirt, he's just wearing short pants!

We had deer visit our yard last week, they visit a lot we just don't always see them. Anyways after the were gone Reygann asked me when the zebras were coming back!

Reygann was playing with an electric book on the floor I called her over to do something and after sitting idle for a minute the book said 'are you done playing?' Reygann replied to the book 'No I'm not, my mommy needs me, I'll be right there!' It was too cute!

You know it's time for a haircut when...

you can give your son piggy tails!!

(Pardon my messy face, I just finished my breakfast)

I went all out and put ponys all over his head.

I don't think he liked them too much!

Daddy showed Brody what he looked like in the mirror... I don't think he noticed the difference!
When they finally came out his hair was hopelessly kinked! I think he kinda looks like that Flock of Seagulls guy.

FYI he did get a haircut that night. It took a LOT of wetting down to get his hair to lay right so I could cut it! Oh well!

Bath Time?

Look at those cheeks!

I don't exactly remember why we decided to give him a bath in the sink, but I think it had something to do with it was almost bed time so I took the girls upstairs and did them while daddy did Brody in the sink. (Brody does not like sharing his bath! I think all the splashing and stuff freaks him out!)

What fun is a bath without the crazy hairdos!

Oops, he didn't like that!

I just think this face is funny!

Our New Toy

Just over two weeks ago we picked up this beauty (thanks to craigslist!). The girls are having a blast on it and I often have to kick them off so I can use it! Kylie needs to exercise all the time according to her!

(wearing my shoes of course)

She is actually really good at it!

Reygann is scared of it when it moves, but she will sit here and play 'driver' and drive Kylie around. She will freak out and scream if she is standing on one of the pedals and Kylie makes it move. Brody likes it ok enough, I am trying to keep him from being interested in it. :0)

Playing Outside!!

As most of you know we have had some wonderful weather around here. We've spent sometime outside enjoying it as much as possible. We have a really soggy yard so we really can't play back there right now, so we played in the garage and driveway. Hopefully one day we will have a yard we can play in again!

Kylie's treasure

I pulled out the bubbles (a summer staple!) and they all had fun with them. I gave Brody a power one so he could do it easier, he really loved it, bubbles are almost as good as balloons!!

Brody loves balloons and bubbles I knew this gigantic ball was going to be a hit too!
The neighbors dogs often sit at the table, yes they sit in the chairs at the table. The one likes to stand on top the table, he must see better from up there or something! The kids got a kick out of him being up there!

Kylie's turn to play on the ball
she was showing me her trick

it didn't end well!

spinning the stroller around in a circle fast as she could

Reyganns turn with the bubble gun

Brody had fun walking through the doors over and over again
peek-a-boo! I caught a bubble in this picture, kinda cool how that worked out

Kylie stood there and Reygann blasted her with bubbles

Fun With Daddy

Daddy got home early one day this week and Kylie was up so he took her for a 4 wheeler ride. He promised me he would be very careful, but I had to start to be concerned after they were gone for over 40 minutes!

They finally showed up and Kylie had a great time!

We came out to see them and Brody took his turn with Daddy

They just went for a quick ride around the back yard

Then he took both the girls around the backyard

Then it was Reyganns turn to go for a real ride with Daddy

Teddy Bear Love

Brody was still a bit sleepy this morning and I caught him snuggling Kylie's Teddy Teddy

It was very sweet

Until he pushed him off the couch!

There he goes! Poor Teddy Teddy!
