What a drag!

I'm trying to get stuff ready for our taxes and because of all of the improvements we've done on the house I need to find the reciepts if we want to decuct them. This is a little more difficult than one would think, I have a years worth of reciepts to look through and of course it is all written in chinese! Seriously what is a BTACARBLT? Or a 3GNGWLFLMRK? How am I supposed to know what I am looking at! Luckly for me I am looking for things that are easier to spot like R13BAT.

Two piles of reciepts down one to go! Shew!

House Update Sorta

Daddy was working in the old house and Brody stood there at the opening listening and trying to chat with him

Everything is dusty because of the demo, that is a given... but I wasn't planning on the cat tracking it in the house too! (if you look closely in the top picture you can see the dust flying around in the air)
This is where my purse has been hanging (this is my purse when I am not in mommy mode, there is no way all the kids stuff could fit in here!) it doesn't get used too often so when I took it down to use it I found presents inside.
Brody has been tearing the paper off the back of the old walls and putting it in my purse! (My purse was hanging just to the right of where he is standing)
Since I took my purse away he now proudly brings them to me.

Last Saturday we were eating breakfast and I kept thinking I heard a noise. After walking around for a bit I looked out the window and found someone in our dumpster! How nervy, it is 5 feet from the front of the house!

Too cool

When we move this mirror out of the old house the back came off a little I didn't really think much of it till later I was doing something on the floor and I caught sight of something behind the backing. Of course I had to know what it was so I pulled the papers out and they were pieces of envelopes dated from 1946. I would love to know the story behind this, I have the name of the person it was addressed to I wonder if I could do some digging and figure it out... It seems like the return address was not in there like it was cut off or something and it was adressed to a MRS so maybe the lady was having an affair and was stashing her love letters in the back of the mirror... Ohh I'd love to know! I'm tempted to rip off the rest of the mirror to see if I can find anything else!

Cooties

We got Reygann the game Cootie for her birthday and daddy and girls took it for a test run.

It was a little different than I remembered, but we got the hang of it in no time.

Brody was content to watch and play with the nursery toy

Reygann wasn't doing so well (you need to roll a 1 or 2 before you can move on) so here she is trying to put the mojo on the dice

I don't remember who won, but I'm thinking it was Kylie. Her cootie is talking with daddy's cootie

Of course Reyganns cootie wanted to talk with daddy's cootie too!

The cootie masters!

Pretty Pretty Princesses

Reygann also got the Cinderella edition of the Pretty Pretty Princess game. So we played that one too. Daddy was the first one to get to wear the crown!

Showing off all the jewlery she won so far

Daddy was trying to make the game a little more 'manly'

All she needs is the crown and she wins!

But Kylie lucked out and she won

...Still working on making a game called Pretty Pretty Princess a little more 'man friendly'

Mr Green Lips

I found these really cool beginner markers for babies, they are egg shaped and don't need caps, I thought they were too cool. Until we tried to use them that is... I threw them in my bag as I was heading out to breakfast with my mom, I thought they would be perfect to keep Brody entertained since they were new and since he seems to like to color. Even though they don't leak and don't need caps I thought I would play it safe and threw them in a baggie and boy am I glad I did! The stupid things leaked all over! I wiped them off thinking it was a fluke and gave them to Brody to play with, it didn't take long before he started turning green. That's it, I've had enough, the stupid things are on my counter waiting to be taken back to the store!

I'm a nerd!

Tonight is the lunar eclipse I had forgotten about it, but a fellow nerdling called me so I ran outside to check it out. Once I figured out where the moon was and realized I could see it from the warmth of my home I bolted back inside! I ran upstairs but daddy was already done tucking the girls in. I figured this was a good enough reason to go back in there (daddy only left their room a few minutes before, it wasn't like they were sleeping). Reygann and I piled into Kylie's bed and we watched the eclipse out the window. We talked about it for a little and I realized that I should have done a little research before I went up there to tell them about it! Surprisingly I had all the facts right (I looked it up when I came back down)! They were cute with their noses pressed up on the glass fogging up the window. I thought about running downstairs and grabbing my camera but I decided against it. We watched for a few more minutes and realizing that it was going to be a while still I tucked them back in bed. Now were just waiting for it to come back out... I'm not really a nerd, it isn't like I have this written on my calendar or something! I figured I'm awake, why not check it out...

Are you SERIOUS?!

I bought this dress on Ebay, pretty cute, isn't it? (Pardon her regular shirt under the dress, I was just seeing if it fit.)
This is the best part....
The dress comes with a bonnet! A bonnet for a 4 yr old! Are you serious? She looks like a dork!! Who puts their 4 yr old in a bonnet?

It's about time!

A few weeks ago we finally got around to burning our Christmas tree... I know its been a while since Christmas, but in all fairness we take our tree down Jan 1st, so it was only 4 weeks before we got around to burning it. I threw sweatshirts on the kids and we ran out to watch...

Brody was intrested (that's my boy! Fire, Fire!!)
But it wasn't going so well... It must have been because after we took it out of the house it sat in the garage then we put it outside before we burned it and it got snowed on.

We even threw in some of the wood from the house to try and help it along.

Kylie was comforting Reygann
She cupped Reyganns face in her hand and told her that it will be ok and that we will get another tree next time. It was so sweet, and it was kinda funny because Reygann didn't seem to really care! Maybe Kylie was just comforting Reygann to cover her own feelings... Anyways the stupid tree never really did burn and the kids became restless. One of the girls finally said 'Can we go in now?' So we did. I have high hopes for next years tree...

Happy Birthday Cinder-Reygann

I can't believe I forgot to post pictures of Reyganns birthday party! Bad Mamma, bad! Since it was a Cinderella party she dressed up as Cinderella, and we told the other kids that they could come dressed up too. I don't have too many pictures of the party (which could be a good thing, I'm sure you wouldn't want to be bored by them all)

Bring on the presents!

I love her hair here, she is mid leap off the chair and oh so excited about her little Cinderella doll!

Testing the toy out in the box
Kylie helping Reygann read her new book

CUPCAKES!!

Soon as the candles were out she dove right in!

It took a while for her to get the hang of holding her pinky down but she got it!
