Reygann's List

Tomorrow is the big day! My mom is coming over to watch the girls while we are at the hospital, I left her a list of things she should know and that kind of thing, and I guess the girls weren't pleased with my list because I caught them at the computer desk adding their own stuff to it!!

New Bedtime Routine?

When it comes to bedtime most people have a 'calming' routine... give the kids a bath, snuggle them, read stories, ect, not us... We stick our kids in an empty laundry basket and spin it around over and over till they can hardly stand up!! They love it, Reygann can barely stand up and is stumbling her way to the couch asking to do it again... and Kylie is falling on the floor in a fit of giggles! What a great way to settle your kids down for the night!

Little Mommy

Kylie is turing into such a little Mommy. I don't think we go anywhere without her baby, blanket, and a bottle!

She is always asking me how we hold our baby brother, so I think she is getting some practice in ahead of time. We didn't have a bed for our baby so mommy made her one out of a shoe box!


We got the girls a little nursery play set the other day and I can't wait to see them with it... we're going to give it to them after we have the baby. I was planning on getting them something like that for Christmas but for $6 who can pass it up! Reygann really likes her baby too, and usually if Kylie has hers, Reygann has hers also. Reygann even shares her special blankie with the baby!

Kylie took these pictures of some of the babies and elmo sleeping on the floor. I thought it was so funny because it reminded me of when I took pictures of my Great Grandpa's garden... I took a whole roll of film and the garden was pretty small, I would take a picture, take a step over, take another picture, take a step over... and so on!

My helper

Kylie has been my big helper with Reygann... she likes to feed her 'Yogi' (yogurt) in the mornings. Reygann likes Kylie feeding her, but Kylie doesn't exactly give them even amounts... 3 for Kylie, 1 for Reygann.

Oh well it is neater than letting Reygann do it herself, and they both seem to enjoy it.

More apple pictures

Apple Picking

It is a family tradition to go up to Michigan and go apple picking, and it is something I want to do with my kids so this weekend we took the girls... except my Dr wouldn't let me take the drive that far so we had to fake it at a apple orchard that was closer. We had a good time and got a lot of apples... but not nearly as many as last time. Hopefully I can get them all canned before baby comes (one week or less!) I swear I almost had the baby in the middle of the orchard within the first 5 minutes! I was showing Reygann how to pick the apples and we had some that were really hard to pull off and I grabbed it with her and off it came and I bonked her! She looked really shocked and told daddy 'Mommy bonk!' I know it is terrible, but I broke out in hysterical laughter and couldn't breathe.

Then I though Deric should put the girls on his shoulders so they could get some high ones and Reygann pulled one off dropped the apple and it hit his head... then Kylie pulled one off dropped it, hit his head and the apple next to the one she pulled off fell and hit his head too!! I had tears running down my face and was actually in pain from laughing so hard!

After that we thought we should just stick to the apples on the bottom!



Reygann was a big help pushing the wagon for us... I don't know if daddy could have pulled it with all those apples by himself!


I wanted to get a picture of daddy and the girls on an old ladder in the orchard... but daddy was the only one holding still!!


It was a long day with a lot of walking, and both girls fell asleep on the way home...

Kylie actually held out for a long time, but couldn't fight it any longer.

Update on the update

I talked to my Dr today and we decided to change the date they are going to induce me. She had no problem it because she knows how important having Jamie there is to me. My new date is the 25th, if I make it till then. Jamie said if I went before then she would come over here if I wanted her too and we can labor here some before we head to the hospital. That is pretty cool, I wanted to try something like that all along. only problem is I go REALLY fast towards the end so we can't hang out here too long. So, for those of you that are counting down the days with us add a few more days on there!

1 week left! Update...

Ok so here is the story... I went to the Dr's today and everything is great (of course), but I found out that we had our wires crossed and when we talked about coming in on the 21st to be induced I thought she meant in the evening like we did with both girls, but she meant in the morning!! So unless I have a longer labor than I did with both girls put together we aren't going to get the 22nd afterall. That is ok it isn't like it is something you really can control, we were just hoping... Anyways I found out that my doula can't make it on the 21st at all!! OH NO!! What are we going to do? So now we are prayin that we go earlier than the 21st so our doula can make it, but that it will also be on a day that my Dr is on call! I don't know who I want there more.. I just love Jamie (doula) and she was there for both girls.. but so was doc (even though she didn't make it in time for Reygann really!!) I have met the other doc that I might get and she is also very nice, but I just don't have a connection with her.. but I won't deal with her for long at all and Jamie never left my side so maybe Jamie would be the better one to have.. Arugghhh, either way it isn't up to me.. I just hope it works out for us, I'll keep you updated!

1 week left!

Ok, so I knew I was big.. but it isn't till you take a picture and you look at it that you are like 'Oh my gosh, I'm huge!' I guess that happens when you have one week left.. but my oh my! It's no wonder I don't have any clothes.. I am blowing out of all of them! (And I'm not about to buy more with only 1 week to go.) We are still looking at the 22nd, IF I make it that far! We are this close so Deric and I really hope we do... isn't that odd most pregnant gals are like 'Get this over NOW!' and here we are trying to hang on one more week! Don't get me wrong a few weeks ago I wanted to be done.. the heat and all that was getting to me, but now that he is dropping and it is cooler out I am feeling much better. So wish us luck that we can make it! (And that I'll have clothes that fit until then!!)

Today's Shower...

Any guesses what happened today? They were really quiet today, and I had a pretty good hunch what was going on... I checked it out soon as I was done and this is what I caught them doing!
Yep, you got it they fell asleep snuggling on the floor! How sweet is that? I didn't get into the shower till really late this morning, and Kylie had been up since 6:30, so I knew they were tired... I was just going to wait to put them down till after I was out... I guess they had other plans.

What has gotten into them?

Here is another post without pictures.. I didn't really think I could get ones that would be appropriate... So where do I start? Let’s see, the girls are playing in their room and being really good… (I guess I should have known something was up then!) So I am trying to get some stuff done while they are occupied… I hear lots of giggles and squeals of laughter and I can hear them running around our room, then the footsteps head this way. Reygann pops around the corner stark naked and boldly states ‘nekkie nek!’ (She loves being naked, it is her new thing) Kylie is right behind her just as buck-naked as her sister! Kylie said ‘were naked!’ (Did she think I couldn’t tell?) She was so proud that she helped Reygann get her clothes off. Pretty innocent, what kid doesn’t want to be naked? I tell Kylie that we have to get dressed and she can’t take Reygann’s diaper off because she might go to the bathroom somewhere (lucky for me she didn’t… or I just haven’t found it yet!!) and Kylie said they had to be naked… Why did they have to be naked… did I really want to know? Apparently they were playing doctor with all their baby dolly toys… and lets just leave it at that… I really don’t think they should be coming to anymore doctor appointments with me!!

Why, why, why, ...again

I am starting to wonder if I will ever again be able to take a shower without something happening! Lucky for me this time I was almost done and I hear Reygann let out a scream, as awful as it is my first thought is what did Kylie do to her now! But to my surprise Kylie runs halfway to the bathroom says something about Reygann being stuck and ran back to Reygann, so I really have no clue what is going on.. so out I jump (again) grab a towel and the camera and run to their room, and this is what I find...

By the time I got there Reygann wasn't crying anymore... she was just laying there still, not moving an inch. I guess the poor girl gave in to her situation! Kylie lifted up the dustruffle and Reygann let out a 'hey get me out of here' cry, and got herself unstuck (otherwise I would have tried for a better picture!)



Poor little girl was stunned for a bit and just stood there and let me hold her, her little cheek was red for a while... but no real damage was done. I think next time before I shower I should get the girls dressed and fix their hair.. it always seems like something happens and they have terrible bed head in the pictures!
