Scary? Why is it scary? You should have seen the first one she drew... she drew the head and then the legs and added the neck and tummy off of the legs since there was no room between the legs and the head and I had to have her redo it... there is no way I could have sent that picture to school!!
no, that is a GREAT little girl she drew! the fact that she is puting a body separate from a head is a huge developmental milestone. you should be very proud of her. many times in pre-k they don't have the ability to make a 'person' but a round thing with arms and legs that serves as body and head together. and she has some pretty good handwriting already. that is impressive, really. the fact that the 'y' is hanging below the line says a whole lot about her ability to write. be very proud!!
