What do YOU think?
The girls beds are finished! Before I paint I need to fill the nail holes and stuff. One of us thinks the cracks between the slats should be filled in too, the other does not. What do you guys think? The first headboard has the largest gap in the middle, but if we fill one we fill them all. So I included a picture of each piece (if you click them they are easier to see).

That is a pretty decent sized gap. You said if you filled it in you'd have to fill them all in. Why is that? I say fill the middle one and leave it at that. The smaller ones are fine and give the headboard character.
If you don't want to fix it I think that'll be alright too. I doubt people will notice it, just pile up the pillows or something ;o)
I hope I'm siding with the *right* person here :-) but, I would say, since I like the character of the wood, to leave the cracks be--or, just fix the one really big one (if it is bothersome to you) and leave the others.
Just my opinion, though....I'm certainly not the one having to live with it day in and day out, so you have to do what will work best for all of you, of course! :-)
