I'm still alive...

...but just barely! Dial up is killing me!

Daddy's Boots

Daddy's Harley boots are always an endless source of enjoyment! Whether they are trying to walk in them or they are just carrying them around they always get a kick out of them!

After trying to step into them, losing his balance and falling over...

he thought it might be safer to leave the boots alone and head on his way...
...but not till he got his cup out of the 'secret' pocket!

A day in the life of Brody

Morning! I always start my day by being silly

attempting to crawl though my toy

saying good morning to Frankie

and giving him a kiss

I've got my purse

lets get going

buh-bye

Where Are You?

He just loves hiding from us, whenever it is time to go to bed he runs ahead of us and dives under his crib!

(?But he is always good about coming back out and going to bed)

She Did It!!

Kylie has been wanting to get her ears pierced for the longest time now. I figured now was a good time, we asked her to show us she was responsible enough for them. I know she can't take care of them by herself, but I wanted her to show us how much she wanted them by proving that she can be responsible. She proved herself and here we are. Anyways, we didn't tell her we were going to get them done, we went out to dinner and after we pulled into the mall. Of course they thought we were there to get our pictures taken (why else would I be at the mall!) We told her while we were in the parking lot why we were there.

Here she is in the parking lot all excited, and showing me where the earrings were going to go.
I priced out the earring stores and Libby Lu seemed to be the best deal. She's checking out all the goods while we wait.
One last pictures before she gets them done

She really wanted her daddy to come with so she could sit on his lap and hold his hand.

Getting the dots
Daddy said her heart was racing!!

The girls were very sweet and explained everything to her. Here they are 'shooting' each other with the earring gun, so Kylie could see that gun doesn't hurt. Little does she know the gun doesn't hurt, its the earring in the gun that does! Actually she knew all about what it was like because we talked about it over and over again. I even pinched her lobes to give her a guess what it is going to feel like!
A second girl came over so they could do both ears at the same time. They told her they were going to count to 5 and if she was ready to give a thumbs up. That was all a lie, they counted to 3 and did it! I wish they would have let me in on that secret! I just happened to take a picture anyways, and I think this is right when they did it.

Man she was surprised! I don't know if it was because it hurt a little, or because she didn't think it was coming yet. Either way, she cried, of course!
She immediately curled up on daddy and cried, but it only lasted a second. Daddy said it made him MAD that those girls hurt his baby!!
We told her that it was done and that seemed to perk her up a little!

They wiped her ears with alcohol since they felt hot, and that did the trick. She was 100% after that!
Checking them out!
And showing them off.
She got a certificate and the girl was asking her the questions (who came with you, how did you feel before, how did you feel after...) and filling it out.

Then she let the girls put on a little lotion.

More showing them off

Of course Reygann and Brody were there too. Reygann got a sticker even though she didn't get her ears done, she put it on her ear... maybe she was pretending it was her earring? I don't know if you can tell from the picture or not, but she was messing around with the glitter the whole time we were busy with Kylie and she is sparkly as a disco ball! Seriously she was COATED, I think it was 3 baths later before all the glitter was washed out of her hair!
Showing off her earrings before Church, she still shows them off. I'm like I know honey, I was there!

Sillies

The other day Daddy 'let one slip' and Kylie shouted 'Daddy tooted like a trumpet!', then later there was another one and Reygann responded with 'Daddy tooted like a gui-tar!' I'm not sure why she picked a guitar, it didn't make any sense but it was funny.

I was laughing so hard I had tears falling on my cheeks, and Reygann asked me why I had puddles of wet on my face.

Last week we were watching an old movie, and at the end they had a short silent movie clip where they were bringing dinner into a king or something on trays above their heads. (Like they would do at a feast for the kings court or something...) Anyways one tray had a whole pig on it with an apple in its mouth and Kylie burst into a fit of giggles. I had no clue why she was laughing so hard when she finally calmed down she told me it was because they were eating animals! How silly is that?!? Apparently she hasn't put two and two together (chickens live on the farm... we eat chicken at dinner)!

We just recently started to watch Veggie Tales (we listen to the cd all the time, but just now broke out the movies) and one night I was making a salad with dinner and Kylie saw me and shouted AAHHH, YOU'RE CUTTING UP VEGGIE TALES!!!

Another Veggie Tale related story is we were watching someone cooking on tv and they said we are making 'blah blah with asparagus' and Kylie said 'that's Juniors family!' Later he started cutting them up and she shrieked ' he's cutting off their heads!'

After dinner daddy got up from the table and Reygann asked why he didn't have any pants on, and why he was wearing a skirt (he was wearing soccer type shorts). Kylie replied, No Reygann Daddy isn't wearing a skirt, he's just wearing short pants!

We had deer visit our yard last week, they visit a lot we just don't always see them. Anyways after the were gone Reygann asked me when the zebras were coming back!

Reygann was playing with an electric book on the floor I called her over to do something and after sitting idle for a minute the book said 'are you done playing?' Reygann replied to the book 'No I'm not, my mommy needs me, I'll be right there!' It was too cute!

You know it's time for a haircut when...

you can give your son piggy tails!!

(Pardon my messy face, I just finished my breakfast)

I went all out and put ponys all over his head.

I don't think he liked them too much!

Daddy showed Brody what he looked like in the mirror... I don't think he noticed the difference!
When they finally came out his hair was hopelessly kinked! I think he kinda looks like that Flock of Seagulls guy.

FYI he did get a haircut that night. It took a LOT of wetting down to get his hair to lay right so I could cut it! Oh well!
