He really did like the green beans dispite what his face is saying. This was a week or two ago and by now he's had peas, carrots, and sweet potatos, and he loves them all!

Sleeping in the Crib

Here are a few more belated pictures. We finally moved Brody to a crib three weeks or so ago. He sleeps much better in here now, the cradle was huge but it would rock and I kept trying to wedge it so it wouldn't move. This works much better, it takes up much more room (that we don't have to spare) but if he sleeps better who am I to complain about space! I just have to hang a curtain from the ceiling to keep him from seeing us as we walk through the room. Soon as he sees us he thinks it is time to get up!! And you have to walk through the room to get to the girls room so there isn't much I can do about it.

Cone Head

I took these last time we went shopping with Joan. We gave the kids empty ice cream cones for snacks and Kylie shared hers with Brody. Needless to say he wasn't too thrilled!

Pile O Monkeys

One of my favorite family times is the mornings when we can sleep in a little. Usually when we hear the girls waking up I will open their door and hop back in bed pretending to be asleep, and they will climb into our bed and wake us up. It ends up being all arms & legs, and usually someone ends up getting hit in the head with some random flying body part!

Kylie's Haircut

I have once again been having a hard time getting into blogger, and when I have finally made it in I can't get my pictures to upload! So I have a backlog of pictures to post (and to finish uploading!) This is Kylie's second haircut, I did it myself. It doesn't look too different because in the after her head is tipped up (and she is closer), but I actually cut off 3-4 inches.

Easter Pictures

I didn't take any of Brody yet, it was just TOO CRAZY!! I plan on bringing him back another day, besides he didn't want to smile... he just wanted to spit at the camera! There were better ones of both girls, but when I put them together (like they would be on the wall) it just didn't look right. These aren't bad, but they kinda look like school pictures or something.

Garage Fun

Daddy spent a few nights this past week working on getting the garage floor ready, the girls had fun playing outside in the 'sandbox' with him (and of course mommy enjoyed the peace, well at least while Brody was napping). I went out to see how things were going and I saw them doing this...

It was pretty cool, it's like one of those things they have at the park where you can talk in one end and you can hear it on the other side. The girls were having fun telling each other things to do like 'if you hear me turn around' and stuff like that. I think they are going to be really disappointed when we get a garage floor and the sandbox goes away!

Deric got more work done in the garage yesterday and I think we just need one more load of stone and we will be ready to pour the floor (I could be wrong though). We actually parked our cars in there last night! (Ha, I said 'in' there! There really isn't an 'in', maybe I should have said on instead) anyways... it was really nice this morning to walk off the deck onto the patio (if you can call it that) and pretty much right into the garage. With all the fresh stone in there I wasn't dodging muddy spots like I have to in the driveway. I also let both girls walk to the car instead of carrying them so they wouldn' t get dirty, THAT was nice!

It was too cute when we got home from church Kylie exclaimed that it was like a little parking lot just for our cars! Kids are so funny...
