Kylie's Birthday Continued

Kylie's birthday party went well. We had it in the garage so we could fit everyone more comfortably and so the kids would have lots of room to run (and plenty toys to play with). Hopefully by next year we will have grass again and we can have it out there. About 24 hours before the party I decided I wanted to get rid of a lot of the leftover candy I had laying around here and decided to make a pinata... it isn't a really quick process. If I ever try it again I will have to allow more time to make it and be more careful with the balloon I pick. This pinata ended up looking more like an dinosaur egg than anything! It took forever to dry and I hardly had time to spray paint it before people came. I was so ugly I almost didn't use it, but my desire to get rid of my candy was stronger than my desire to hide my failed pinata!!

Kylie was actually the one that broke it! We started youngest to oldest and we thought for sure Harrison was going to break it but he didn't. Kylie was thrilled that she broke it!

We also played the Little Mermaid version on pin the tail on the donkey.

Brody didn't play, but he wanted to try on our 'blindfold' too

Finally time for cake... well cupcakes!

I have the same problem with Emmalee and the flooding or to big in the waist issue with pants. So I only buy pants with the adjustable waist. Which actually works out nicely with jean shorts capris and skirts because they fit 2 seasons just a little shorter. She has one pair of capris that were huge so they were adjusted all the way and now not adjusted at all but this is her 3rd summer with them i think they are like 24 month or something like that. By the way she is so so cute.

I love that she's into Ariel...Caleb is into Cinderella but it's not quite the same!

Here's the strum area of a Chord pick. It is more effective on the electric. The hand on the fret in a walking fashion, with your second finger leading the way.
