Shew, it's been awhile!! I have been so busy with house stuff, trying to close the loan, and going through insurance hell! (I am still trying to get the insurance to pay from when Brody was born 20 months ago!) I have been very stressed and don't have the time to sit and blog, it doesn't help that I have dial up and that everything is S L O W! I have been checking all your blogs religiously still though! It seems like most of us are in a blog slow season (but not you Jody!) After dropping Kylie off at school I had some returns to do but the store didn't open for an hour and a half so I brought the computer and sat in Panera's parking lot uploading pictures. It's too bad blogger was acting up so I had to upload them all to photo bucket which means they all ended up HUGE! Sorry!!! I have a ton uploaded so keeps your eyes peeled I'll be trying to get them all up here soon.
(I just realized the pictures are so big the horizontal ones don't have enough room to show up! Gurrrr!!)

Kylie's Birthday
I can't believe my little girl is 5!! The time has really flown by, somedays it seems she is 5 going on 13! She is still really goofy, this is when she first woke up and saw her presents sitting on the counter when she came down, she is 'ooohhing' and being all weird pointing at them and jumping up and down.
Don't you love her skivvies hanging out of her pants here... otherwise it would be a great picture! I still have a hard time finding clothes that fit her well, they are too big and just the right length, or fit just right and floods!
Waiting to open her presents!!!!
Reygann did a good job watching. It irritates me when peoples kids get all in the birthday kids face and try to help all the time. (My kids do it too, but I try to stay on them about staying back since it isn't their day.)
She has been wanting goggles for a while now... and to have Little Mermaid goggles BONUS!
Showing Reygann the new Veggie Tale movie
This might have been one of her favorites... it is a little mermaid that swims with you. ...too bad she didn't work... I did exchange it for another one, but I haven't tried it out yet, here's hoping she works!
Reygann got one of these little Cindrella dolls for her birthday and Kylie has been talking about the Ariel one since, she was so happy when she saw it!
We had a really busy evening to come and since her party was in a few days we didn't do a cake for her. But she did get this killer turtle cheesecake bite!
Soaking in the singing
It is eye-popping goodness!
And she was so kind to share with Reygann too!
My little goofball
There, that's better
I almost forgot the best gift! (I did with Reygann too!) We were rushing out the door to go to her program and I quickly had to set it up in the garage and let her check it out real quick.
She loves it! (They all do! It was going to be a Christmas gift, but I thought they had too much so I thought I'd save it. I've been holding on to it since early fall!!)
Silly girl walked around all day the next day wearing her goggles playing with her new toys!

Kylie's Birthday Continued
Kylie's birthday party went well. We had it in the garage so we could fit everyone more comfortably and so the kids would have lots of room to run (and plenty toys to play with). Hopefully by next year we will have grass again and we can have it out there. About 24 hours before the party I decided I wanted to get rid of a lot of the leftover candy I had laying around here and decided to make a pinata... it isn't a really quick process. If I ever try it again I will have to allow more time to make it and be more careful with the balloon I pick. This pinata ended up looking more like an dinosaur egg than anything! It took forever to dry and I hardly had time to spray paint it before people came. I was so ugly I almost didn't use it, but my desire to get rid of my candy was stronger than my desire to hide my failed pinata!!
Kylie was actually the one that broke it! We started youngest to oldest and we thought for sure Harrison was going to break it but he didn't. Kylie was thrilled that she broke it!
We also played the Little Mermaid version on pin the tail on the donkey.
Brody didn't play, but he wanted to try on our 'blindfold' too
Finally time for cake... well cupcakes!
Time for presents!!!
She got lots of wonderful things
She loved all the Libby Lu goodies!!
Daddy and Papaw were paying more attention to the Nascar race then they were to the presents
Trying on the pink ponytail
She got a Mermaid outfit crown and wand
Of course she had to try it all on right away! She spent the rest of the party wearing her new dress up
