House Update

We have windows! Yippie! It is so nice to be able to see out that side of the house again (kinda) and to get some much needed ventilation!

The latest view of the house

Deric is cutting the holes for the windows...

Kylie woke up and wanted to know what all the noise was about!

Nailing down the tyvek

Dad came over to help with the windows

This is the view from the family room window (the one Kylie was in above)

I can open the blinds and have light again, through another room, but it is still really light. (Same window as above)

Monte finally came back and did a little work on the hill.

Under The Exersaucer

Brody is still getting into things! Literally, into... He still only army crawls, but that didn't stop him from crawling into the exersaucer! He played there for a little and crawled back out. What a goofy little boy.

Pool Fun

I bought this pool for the kiddos this year it looked really cute on the box and it was... but it was a lot smaller than it looked. I might return it for that fact, that and that the edge of the pool is only 'blown up' when the water is on, if you turn it off the pool deflates. I don't really want to have the water on all the time... but it is REALLY cute... so I am torn! I hooked the pool up to the laundry tub so we could have warm water for Brody, after he went to bed I turned the hot water down, (but still left it on a little) and when I got outside Joan said none of the other kids would play in it because the water was too cold!! Oops!

See small...

Brody's ready to swim! Do you like his hair do?

humm, not too bad...

Checking out the water

Dancing around the pool

We set the pool up in the neighbors yard (no one lives there right now) because we thought that was a better place than the mud or rocks! We were a little too close to the edge of the yard and the kids kept tracking dirt into the pool. Harrison kept running and diving into it like it was a slip and slide.

Cabinets and Countertop

This is the door style we picked out... the first picture is more accurate in color, but the second picture you can see the details better. All I did was turn off the flash, and it is so different. Look at the counter top, it doesn't even look green in the second picture. Strange.

This is the door in the correct color on the counter top I like... the colors are hard to see so I am posting another picture of the counter top below.

Here is a better view of it.

These are my kitchen cabinets on the actual web page. You will have to click saddle under Finishes if you want to see the color we actually picked.

I'm thinking about Toffee Crunch for the wall color in the family room... but I am also thinking about Mississippi Mud (very close color, just a hint of green to it). I think maybe Harvest Brown (with the Mississippi Mud) or Brown Teepee (with the Toffee Crunch) for the foyer and stairs. I have no idea how to find these colors online... ask Joan!

These are my dishes... I would like to find a way to tie in the blue of the dishes to the room. (It is a great room, so all the walls will be the same color) So does anyone have a suggestion on what to do? I don't want to have brown walls and just have my blue dishes sitting there... I want some way to make it look good together.

Kylie's Flower

Kylie picked this flower for me, wasn't that sweet! She was treating it like it was so fragile she had it cupped in her hand and was walking slowly so it wouldn't blow out.

Reygann saw Kylie and picked up a leaf off the ground to give to me, how sweet too!

As Reygann would say they're putting them togetter

Kylie wanted me to put it a vase, but they were all to big so I used a medicine cup. It was the perfect size.

Kylie didn't like the icky water... but it turns out that the leaf just dyed the water green and it wasn't icky at all.
