Christmas Tree Hunting

As tradition goes we went out first thing (or as first thing as you can get with 3 kids) to hunt down and cut our Christmas tree. We went to our usual tree place and picked up some breakfast on our way. The girls were excited about getting a tree, taking a hay ride, and having hot cocoa! It was SO COLD out that we bundled them up the best we could and we were still cold! The girls had tights on under their pants and we put their snow pants on even though there was no snow! I felt kinda silly with them walking around in their snow pants, but oh well!

Brody must have been excited about the big day because he woke up super early and ended up falling asleep in the car on the way there.

Brody's Mess!

For the last few weeks Brody has been driving me crazy and keeping me on my toes! Not only has he been walking he has been climbing, NOTHING is off limits!! He first learned how to climb up on the stool at the table (but he didn't know how to get off) and he would stand up there bouncing up and down throwing things off the table and computer desk! (Mind you the table and desk are the only places I have to place stuff.)

While I was in my shower I hear a rustling noise and knew it couldn't be good... when I got out I found out that he had emptied out one of the drawers in the computer desk.

Can you see the tape stuck all over him? There goes the rest of my packing tape...

Not only was there tape all over him, but the tape had papers stuck in it too! He had a trail following behind him.

Another time I came into the kitchen to see that he had discovered a different drawer in the desk, arugghhh! I am never going to find what I need in there again, it is such a mess now!!

He loves standing up there and beating on the table, after he knocks everything off that is!

Of course he got into the garbage too! What else is there for him to get into?! It isn't even lunch time yet!!

Daddy Did It!

I dropped Kylie off at Cubbies, and I ran some errands. Daddy had to play the drums so he met me back at church with Reygann and Brody and we switched cars and then I picked Kylie up... when I took Reygann out of the car this is what I saw...

Daddy had put Reygann in Kylie's pants and mixed the polka dots and stripes! And I had to walk her through church like this!!

Happy Thanksgiving (and Happy birthday Daddy)

The girls were SO excited when they woke up and found out that it had snowed overnight! Granted it didn't stay around for long, but it was fun to see! It even snowed on and off all day and we kept running to the windows to check it out.

We spent Thanksgiving with Deric's family this year (we switch sides every year). Not too much to say about it, we ate, we were stuffed, and we managed to eat pie!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Brody was a big fan of Hunter. He isn't the most friendly cat in the world, but he put up with Brody well. (Reygann got a scratch on her face though...) I think Hunter knew he could beat Brody if needed (he weighs more than Brody does!)

House Update

This update is pretty close to being accurate, there are a few more things I don't have pictures of yet... but I just have to show off my cabinets!! Granted they are fully installed now and all the doors and drawers are in place... but no picture of that so this will have to do.

Ok so this got lost in the shuffle somewhere... I think this is from Mid-October... These first few are of the kids watching daddy paint the downstairs from inside this house. He was using the sprayer to prime and then paint the ceiling, that is why there is plastic over the window and why he looks odd (he is wearing a mask and goggles)




Kylie drew on the new garage floor! I'm like who cares, it the garage, but daddy was a bit more unhappy about it. At least it is just pencil, it will wash off easily. I mean, come on, she drew her family, how can you be upset about that!



We had to go to the store and get more stuff and ended up getting lunch too. Obviously we ate at Wendys and Wendy was there!


Our bathroom is getting there!


Deric put the doors in and the trim upstairs is in too!
