What am I thinking!!

I'm making Brody's birthday invitations and it is a big undertaking! I have two images on the front and they are both made up of many pieces... the front has 11 parts to draw and cut out (most of them are done, but I have 3 pieces to go still).

And this spaceship is going to be on the inside (this one has 11 pieces too), and I haven't even gotten to the part that has all the info yet! (I am pretty sure that is going to plain!) Shew! If you add up all the parts it is a LOT to do! My hand hurts from all the cutting!! I'm glad I started early!

Odds and Ends

These are our grapes that are growing up on our porch (and a june bug too).

When the girls were outside hugging the tree I noticed all these holes... the whole tree is like this! Strange...

House Update

Deric worked on the soffit and fascia this weekend, he used pump jacks to get up there... (not that you know what that is...) here they are set up...

He stands on the plank at the bottom and pumps the blue parts with his feet to 'walk' it up the 2x4's, then he goes to the other side and does the same thing and then goes back to the first one again, so on and so forth till he is where he needs to be.

Here he is bravely holding on for dear life and trying to work at the same time.

It's pretty stinking high up there!

At least it was a really nice day to be working...

The girls were outside cheering daddy on (yes, they are still wearing them!) and playing in the dirt.

They were being cute playing with the tree.

This one is for you Jessica... Papaw has the grandkids names tattooed on his arms... this is 'our' arm.

Kitchen Time

The other day all three kids were playing together and they were all getting along! It was nice to see Brody starting to really play with them.

Kylie was baking a cake (with some very interesting ingredients!)

Brody was making chicken

And Reygann was running the store where they were buying stuff.

I think they are re-enacting Hansel and Gretel here... seriously though what is she doing in there?? Oops, that's actually the dishwasher... I guess they are making some creative changes!

Cheer Time

I won this on Ebay for Kylie and I don't think she has taken it off since it arrived!

I already had the exact same one in Reyganns size... here she is tearing through the kitchen trying to run away from me!

They were being very quiet so I snuck a peek at them and found them reading books together! How sweet!

I think their features look very similar in this picture...

Busy Day With A Busy Boy...

Arugghhh!! Brody discovered toilet paper!

He discovered the toilet paper of course after I caught him playing in the toilet! Worst of all the toilet was open because Reygann had just gone potty! Yes, he was splashing in pee-pee water. That boy is so fast... Reygann got to the family room I asked if she closed it she said no ran back and he was already in there!! It was earlier that I caught him rolling around in his snacks (the last post), and before that he pulled his feeding chair over and it fell on him! Don't worry it didn't hurt him, but it did scare him.
