V Day

Happy Valentines Day Everyone! Did anyone do anything special for their sweetie? I made Deric a heart shaped sandwich for his lunch... but when I cut out the heart there wasn't much sandwich left so I bagged up all the parts I cut off too and he didn't see the sandwich behind the bag of cut offs and left with no lunch! When I asked him why he left his lunch at home he was like 'the bag of ripped up sandwich, that's my lunch? I thought the girls got into the fridge!' I told him what I did, maybe next time I'll think it through more!

Cereal

We started Brody on cereal last week, and he LOVES it! What a crazy man! He gets so excited and starts attacking anything that comes near his mouth, it is too cute. I have a video I am going to try to post later but I don't know if it is going to work. I wish there was a way to edit the video, the funniest one I accidentally recorded sideways, oops!!

Sleepin'

The Survey Says...

So I have never filled out one of those survey thingies.. but often when I read them I think about that my answer would be and this one made me giggle...

Q. How many times did you snooze your alarm clock today?
A. None, Brody is my alarm clock and as much as I would have liked to 'snooze' him today it just wasn't working!

I don't know, maybe it isn't funny... but after being up in the middle of the night with a screaming (I mean SCREAMING) child it seems funny to me. (I don't know what his problem was he was really screaming, he NEVER does that... sometimes he cries but this was to the point that I thought my ears were going to bleed! He was finally calming down (after 15 min) but if he kept it up I was going to find something to shove in my ears because it was physically hurting!)

Kitchen Toy

I have been wanting to get the girls a kitchen toy, but they are so expensive.. I have been looking for almost a year now with no luck. I mentioned to Deric that I wanted to get one for Reyganns birthday and he told me that his boss told him a couple days ago that he had a kitchen and asked if he wanted it... and Deric told him no! I was so excited and told him to tell his boss he changed his mind before his boss gave it to someone else... so Deric picked it up and it was a hit! The girls played with it all evening making us dinner and cake and such... now I just need to get more food and pots and pans... it's a good think Kylie's birthday is coming up!

Uh-Oh Bumbo

So my little stinker man is trying to break out of the bumbo chair... I had him in the bumbo on the couch while I was folding the laundry and he kept straightening his body and pushing back, and he can almost pop himself out of the chair! He hasn't gotten out yet, but he is so close... so now I don't want to leave him in the chair unless I am right there to catch him if he finally manages to launch himself out of it! So is it just deceiving that he is going to pop out but there is really no way that he can.. or is he just a stinker that refuses to be confined by a chair?
